Hans Christian Andersen's 205th Birthday is today. Google has done the first multi-doodle for him. As you click on the Doogle, you go to 5 alternate doodles. And after the 5th one you go to information about H.C. Andersen himself.
H.C.A. is buried in Assistens Kirkegaard cemetery in Copenhagen. I invite you to take your lunch and your bathing suit this July and hang out with him for an hour on the grass. I think he would appreciate it.
His fairy tales are for children/adults and are very realistic. They are not sweet ending tales. Yet, his work has endured for centuries worldwide and helps us cry and be human+kind and be spiritual.
