Icelandic Jon writes from Northeastern US: Why can't they show the (Eurovision) winners at least on MTV here? A good question Jon. I can only guess at the answer. "Because it is in Europe? And we don't participate?" I am with you though. I would love to view it and hear it, even if I cannot vote.
Here are the lyrics from the song that the Olsen Brothers sang in 2000 when Denmark won the Eurovision and is it still well liked today. They are actually singing in this clip.
I believe the comment at the end of this video that they won in 1999 is incorrect. From what I read, a sole musician from Norway won in 1999.
